My Latest Fashion Hauls from Topshop, ASOS, Zara and H&M

My Latest Hauls from Topshop, ASOS, Zara and H&M

I love the summer for the temperature, holidays and barbecuing but when it comes to clothes, winter is what gets me all excited (and my credit card all battered). I just love the glamour of festive attire, being as I am a velvet, glitter and sequin fanatic; the extra creativity required in layering rather than one-piece outfits; and brightening up cold days with bold colours and lovely fabrics. That's especially true this year because with the 70s trend still going strong, there's been a wonderful proliferation of jewel tones across the A/W collections not usually so rife for the darker months. Blacks and greys? Pah! The striped Unif jumper epitomises this year's much cheerier palette and I stalked it on ASOS for ages when it had sold out before finally, ecstatically getting my hands on it when it was back in stock. The orange floral blouse is also such a gorgeous colour and couldn't be more 70s. I'm looking forward to wearing the H&M glitter jumpsuit to the office Christmas party with the dreamy green velvet jacket (just about refrained from the matching flares), New Look faux fur collar and Topshop metallic bow sandals. I also love the new jean shape in town, the cropped flare, such as these from both ASOS and Zara (I have purchased about 3 other pairs too so that might warrant their very own post) - absolutely great for ankle boots, which are more often than not my go-to foot decoration; and the Superga velvet flatforms, my dream trainer which can easily be dressed up as well as down. There seems to be a great selection of knitwear everywhere this year too and as it's been so cold and I've been so busy with acting and fashion networking, therefore spending a lot of evenings outdoors throughout the weeks, I seem to be going crazy for jumpers. I love the colour of this side-split ASOS number, a lovely pink-lilac hybrid; the gorgeous lace-up detail on the ribbed knitted top which gives an edge to an easy casual outfit; and the rich earthy colour of the sleeveless New Look rollneck. Not to mention the immensely cosy and outfit-ready ASOS high-neck knitted midi dress - ok so I don't always have time (or enthusiasm) for deliberating over an artfully-layered look...
