British Summertime Festival

I went down to London for the British Summertime Festival when The Who, Johnny Marr and Paull Weller were playing, it was so good to be at a festival after years of not going to any. I'm in my element at them! I didn't go to any while I lived in Spain, but when I was younger I was always at various ones. I wore a Pippa Lynn Monstrosity apron dress, Glamorous suedette fringed jacket and New Look lace up pointed flats, with my trusty leather saddle bag from the mountains of Ronda. I love this year's 70s obsession but I think when festival season rolls around it can become overkill and soon looks contrived, so I just mixed my cowgirl jacket with a piece that I feel is a little fresher and not so ubiquitous, but still very fitting for summer.

This is my We Are Hairy People textured sweat with chiffon back (under ASOS stripe short dungarees), there's definitely a theme here - I didn't even realise I had a penchant for monster-covered clothes! I wonder how many more brands are featuring such this space!
