Al Fresco Los Martes

This week I feel like detoxing heavily after a hectic couple of weeks in the UK, and especially with how hot it is here in Spain now it's August (put it this way, it's nearly 11pm and I'm still tempted to jump in the pool).


So tonight I had a superfood salad on the terrace, of chicken, butternut squash, avocado, pepper, courgette, aubergine, lettuce, cucumber and tomato. It was gooood. I do find that after a long period of indulging, I stop enjoying food completely and can't detect taste nearly half as well. So it's good to be virtuous for a while again and then suddenly everything returns to being delicious (although this needed no help in achieving that).
